They say that consumer trust accounts for at least one-third of the doing of our economy. Those who study currency flows and the strengths of economies realize that the enter principles works only because people trust it to work. Perhaps, this is why the news is so leading and what is in the news creates perception, which then becomes a reality.
As an illustration of this let us look at some of the headlines for February 13, 2009 as a case study and think what this means for our future:
North Korea construction long range missiles; test coming, still enriching and nukes
Recently, Iran launched a satellite into space, this multi-stage type rocket is the exact type of rocket needed to fire an Icbm nuclear tipped warhead. Iran is enriching uranium and although running out of "yellow cake" they do have enough for many nuclear weapons and now have a rocket capable and proven to scare anything who is their enemy.
Now with regards to the North Korean war machine; North Korea is nearly there and they do have nuclear weapons capability. Rogue nations with nuclear weapons will be one of the world's biggest fears going forward; is anything safe? That might be the question we should all consider.
Stimulus Bill is going to be a tight vote - Obama test
It looks as if the Stimulus Bill is going to be a very close vote, but will finally be passed. Of course, we are already forewarned that this is only Part Ii, in fixing the economy, there will be more to follow. Indeed, many are already talking about inflation in the future, which is going to be pretty serious for all. Many political analysts say as long as the bill passes, even with the skin of his teeth, it's a win. It adds political capital for now.
The news you read in the newspaper or see on Tv matters, even if you are merely scanning the headlines to stay informed. What you must do is think about these stories and this facts and decide how this affects you; it matters.
